Oh hey there, I′m glad you're here!
And if you're on the hunt for some top-notch email marketing strategy and conversion copywriting tips - you've come to the right place!
When you consider your overarching business goals, you can strategically mirror your email marketing to determine how you want readers to spend their time and attention.
(Skip to the bottom, if you want practical examples ASAP.)
But I get it.
You read an article or a tweet that promises you improvement from one little tweak*:
Include an email header image vs. none at all
Change the link color from blue to red
Use a button instead of a link for your calls-to-action
*I completely made these up.

However, tiny tactics are not always helpful for making a significant impact on your business.
Notice how I didn’t say “big” changes — because not all significant changes are big. Instead, they are purposeful, intentional.
Before you go tweaking this and that, look at your email marketing through the lens of your larger business goals.
What do you need more of?
Product sales
Site traffic
Affiliate income
More sales inquiries
Webinar attendees
Reader replies or engagement
YouTube followers
Consider these practical examples for what your emails could look like or include:
1 | To boost SEO and ad revenue: your emails may be shorter with a link to your blog, so readers spend less time dawdling in their inbox and get straight to your site sooner.

2 | To build loyal relationships with readers as a thought leader: perhaps by promising exclusive content only for subscribers — chock your emails full of good stuff readers can’t get anywhere else.
3 | To rally around an affiliate program or product: promotional emails can include testimonials, stories of your personal experience, and make an effort to curb someone’s objections to purchasing.
4 | To alert faithful fans that you have new content, but you have no interest in writing a new email every week: set up an RSS feed with links to the latest.

5 | To create buzz around a new YouTube video: send out an email to your list when the video is live — linking either directly to YouTube (to get more subscribers) or to a blog post on your site (again, SEO).
